MCT/RAM is a High-Tech Distributor/Rep Firm is currently seeking SALES Engineer’s to call on existing customer base, and to develop new accounts.  Opening exist for lower NY/NJ/PA territory & Upstate NY territory. As an MCT/RAM field sales engineer, you will work with leading technology companies to learn about what they do and how MCT/RAM can make a positive difference in the way they do business. You will build technical applications knowledge in many areas and develop a consultative selling style that will make you feel like a part of the customer’s team as well as ours. Our dynamic field staffing program will help you get prepared for this exciting sales role.

You will be working with Engineers and Purchasing Agents in an effort to design in automation components such as:

            Sensors and Noncontact Measurement

            Barcode Readers

            Servo and Stepmotor Controls

            Panel Components

            Linear Bearings and Rails

            Gear Reducers

            Encoders

Requirements:

• BS degree in Electrical engineering or other technical discipline preferred

• Minimum 2 years experience in technical sales with a proven track record of success

• Ability to communicate with senior executives as well as engineering personnel.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relationship building

• Willingness to travel to customer/prospect sites.

• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and excellent project management skills

• Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated problem solving and decision-making.

• Professional attitude and appearance.

• Self-starter and goal orientated
